Case Study — IGS Platform

A private platform for a summer program, student leadership conference, and multi-role academic workflows.

Screens shown here are sanitized, white-labeled interface during active development. Branding, visual design, and selected workflows are customized per organization.

The context

Ivy Global Scholars (IGS) is a multi-part academic program that includes a student leadership conference, a summer learning experience, and ongoing continuity support.

Within that structure, KRGL serves as the conference layer, while the summer program supports academic coursework, assignments, feedback, and portfolio development.

The goal was to create one private platform that could support the full program experience without forcing students, instructors, and program teams into disconnected tools.

The system

The platform was designed as one connected operating layer with two primary modules:

• KRGL conference layer • IGS summer learning layer

Both modules share a common system structure while supporting different workflows, roles, and moments in the program journey.

KRGL Conference layer

The conference experience supports agenda browsing, live session participation, discussion, resources, and attendee navigation—designed for students, speakers, and organizers.

Conference dashboard — a participant home base for agenda browsing, schedule planning, live session access, discussion, resources, and quick navigation.

Session detail — participation layer — a session-level experience that combines event context, materials, live Q&A, and participant interaction in one place.

Session detail — continuity — session context, materials, and next-session navigation support the experience beyond a static schedule.

This layer is built to replace a PDF-style agenda with a structured, role-aware conference hub.

Summer Learning layer

The academic experience supports student dashboards, courses, assignments, feedback, instructor visibility, and follow-up workflows across the summer program.

Student dashboard — a student-facing workspace for courses, upcoming assignments, schedule visibility, and recent feedback.

Instructor view — teaching overview — a role-based workspace centered on review load, student questions, and weekly teaching operations.

Instructor view — workflow depth — course coverage, discussion response needs, and student activity support real instructional operations.

This module is designed to feel lighter than a full LMS while still supporting the workflows that high-touch programs depend on.

Role-based workflows

The platform is organized by role so each user sees what they need—without splitting the system into unrelated experiences.

• Students: schedule, sessions, assignments, feedback, and discussion • Instructors: review queues, course oversight, responses, and teaching operations • Program teams: visibility across participation, support needs, and ongoing operations

The result is one shared operating layer with clear responsibility and context by role.

In progress

This is an active platform build for a real education program. The system is being developed and refined around live operational needs, with ongoing iteration as workflows and requirements evolve.
